Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett tested negative on Friday morning, according to the White HouseThe information came soon after news broke that President Donald Trump had tested positive for COVID-19.

Barrett’s nomination was confirmed by the Senate“ confirm committee meeting to resume soon,” White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said on Saturday.

“The Senate will have an opportunity to consider the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett before the formal nomination process takes place in (likely) January,” Meadows addedBarrett has tested negative on Friday and self-annexed negative on Friday morning, according to The Washington Post.
